Patience

I have a few plants on my deck and some seem to be hummingbird friendly- but they aren’t plentiful enough so I borrowed a feeder and hung it. Day one the hummy was not sure & buzzed my head to assess me, and flew in to the porch - hummy made it out alive, luckily the cat was oblivious. I could not be sure if the sugar water was being consumed - but today I got evidence that they know it’s here. And in between drinking the white pine sap, they take a sip on my feeder. I will get ready for them tomorrow, and maybe get a sharper shot. Here is a snap of the feeding.
