popping in the skies

As the storm moves north offshore - we got the giant thunder clouds defecting the bright cloudless sunset, I had to double take, I thought - did I miss the night and is that sunrise? No, it’s just a cloud acting like a giant reflector. 

Thanks to a text from a wonderful friend I dashed out of the house and into the car, sans shoes and sans glasses, armed only with my camera to capture this sight on the pond. 

Nature is so amazing.
