Frank Talmo, Northbeach bouncer
Frank Talmo passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
Born Oct. 18, 1960, in Wilmington, Frank was the son of the late John and Patricia Talmo. Frank was an engineer by trade, a skilled contractor, and he was also involved in the real estate business. For the past few summers, he worked as a bouncer in Dewey Beach at Northbeach, which he really enjoyed.
Frank loved going to the beach, riding his motorcycle and surf fishing. Known as "Big Frank," he was a very recognizable man standing at six-foot-eight-inches. He was a very social person, known and loved by countless people, who had a great sense of humor. He was always joking to get people to laugh and smile. He was a light-hearted, fun-loving man who will be dearly missed.
Frank is survived by his two children, Dana and Matthew Talmo; siblings, John, Anna, Patty and Rose; and his former spouse and mother of his children, Lynn Talmo.
A service will be held at St. Matthew's Church, 907 East Newport Pike, Wilmington, Saturday April 9. Visitation will start at 10 a.m., and Mass will start at 11 a.m.
A second memorial and celebration of Frank's life will be held at Hammerhead's Bar, 1818 Coastal Hwy, Dewey Beach, from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday April 10.
