Joseph Michael Curry, avid outdoorsman

Joseph Michael Curry, 20, of Bridgeville, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home.  He was born in Lancaster, Pa., July 26, 1995, son of Joseph Curran and Shannon (Curry) Steward and her husband, Jason Steward.

Joseph was a 2014 graduate of Woodbridge High School.  As an avid outdoorsman, Joseph loved fishing, hunting, camping and mud bogging.  Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by his sister, Jenna Steward, and a brother, Jason Steward Jr., both of Bridgeville; three aunts: Colleen Curran of Womelsdorf, Pa., Sherry Jones of Crumpton, Md. and Donna Walls and her husband Louis of Sudlersville, Md.; grandparents: Barb Pratt and Jay Pratt, both of Bridgeville, and Louise Sheaffer of Denver, Pa., and John Steward Jr. of Federalsburg, Md.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 9, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 2 North Williams St., Bridgeville, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow services at Bridgeville Cemetery, Market and Laws streets, Bridgeville.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, Bridgeville.
