Annaleta Susan “Nana” Mariner, mother, caregiver
Annaleta Susan “Nana” Mariner, 67 of Lewes, passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes. She was born Jan. 11, 1949, in Easton, Pa. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Anna Riker, and sister Carol Gruver.
Family and friends said she was a mother and caregiver to many who loved sewing, arts and crafts, holiday gatherings and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband Richard; children: Dawn (Michael) Boyd, Theodore (Megan) Campbell, Russell Campbell, Desiree Riker and Naran Riker; stepchildren: Randall Mariner and Daniel (Jennifer) Mariner; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brothers: Elias and Arnold Riker; and sister Cathy Prenters.
A Memorial Service will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, at Central Worship Center, Laurel. Friends may gather 30 minutes prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
