Raj Matthis joins Security Instrument in Milton

Security Instrument announced that Raj Matthis has joined its team. He is a seasoned security consultant who has worked in the technology field for over 20 years. He is based out of the Milton office and covers Delaware and Maryland.

Matthis advises both residential and commercial customers in selecting state-of-the-art custom intrusion detection, fire detection, video surveillance and overall best practices in security. "Today, we all need to concern ourselves with security," he says. "Unfortunately, we live in a world that has changed enormously, and it has become paramount for all of us to be aware of security challenges. I use my experience and expertise to educate and inform my customers so that they may make the best security decisions for their lifestyle."

Matthis has also worked directly as a life coach with the incarcerated population, many of whom were perpetrating the very acts he now tries to prevent with security solutions. While working with the Department of Corrections for the State of New Jersey, he learned firsthand from the professionals many of the security-related exposures of which the general public is not even aware. "Keeping secure today involves a great deal of common sense coupled with our rapidly ever-growing technology solutions. We have the technology and the ability, so I say we use it to protect ourselves, our businesses and our assets," says Mathis.

Mathis and his wife Gloria live in Felton. They enjoy travel, international cultures, art, music, gardening, philanthropy and a healthy lifestyle.
