K-10 Dog Training announces the two newest American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizens, Bella Banko, a Rottweiler, and Ryder Seeds, a Shih Tzu mix.
Bella’s parents brought her to K-10 Dog Training last winter to be certified as an AKC CGC. The test was put on hold to let a leg injury heal. However, Bella's parents took her training to the next level during her recovery time. They worked with Bella appropriately considering the injury and weather. K-10 worked with Bella to help with her listening skills. Despite the duration time in her recovery, Bella was ready for the test and passed the AKC CGC test with flying colors. All dogs may take the AKC CGC test once they are ready for testing. Bella is a very happy dog, especially when anyone wants to pet her.
Ryder Seeds is sweet little rescued Shih Tzu mix. K-10 Dog Training was hired to meet specific goals so he could go to work with his owner. Trainers spent many weeks working on Ryder’s listening skills, which proved to be very rewarding. They took their time so the goals were meet without stressing both Ryder and his owner. Ryder also passed the AKC CGC test with flying colors.
