Farmers are busy harvesting hay and wheat in Sussex County. You can either see round bales, that are sometimes tarped with white plastic and left in the fields, or, in some cases, rectangular bales that will be stacked in the fields then moved to an enclosed location at the farm. Hay or grass is the foundation of the diet for all grazing animals.
