The Mariner wrestling squad started out fast and furious and put its third W in the book this season with a 68-18 win over the Indians of Selbyville Middle School.
Wins were tallied by Holt Baker, Francis Fuscellaro, Jia Qi Xie, Jack Wiggins, Joseph Nsiah, Giovanni Guarino, George Delgaudio, Jayden Johnson, Cole Windish, Malaki Lewis and Steve Ramirez.
“Our boys wrestled well,” said Mariner head coach Gerald Windish. “Selbyville is a young squad.”
The Vikings were set to travel to Georgetown Middle School Thursday, Jan. 18, for a make-up match.
