The Vice President of Lions Club International, Dr. Jung-Yul Choi visited the Dewey Beach Lions Club Aug. 15. He and his wife, Seung-Bok, visited from Busan, Republic of Korea. Choi, a Lions Club member since 1977, was elected vice president earlier this year. This is the first time he has visited Dewey Beach, where he gave a speech and stayed for a meet and greet.
In honor of his presence, Dewey Beach Lions Club named him a Melvin Jones Fellow by donating $1,000 in his name to Lions Club International Foundation, which funds Lions Club projects around the world.
