Peninsula Country Club promotes Carolyn Torres to executive chef

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club announced its recent promotion of Carolyn Torres to the position of executive chef. Torres, who joined the Peninsula in June 2015, served as sous chef for one year before being promoted to executive sous chef. This recent promotion recognizes her talent, professionalism and leadership.

She is a 2008 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. Her previous culinary work experience includes the Hillstone Restaurant Group in Miami, Fla.; the American Club in Kohler, Wis.; and the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs.

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club team members are excited for the future of the food and beverage operation as this very talented, up-and-coming chef continues to enhance the community’s amazing culinary operation with her special brand of innovation and creativity.
