Ventriloquist comic Ken Huff to perform at Dickens Parlour Feb. 15-16

February 8, 2019

Dickens Parlour Theatre in Millville is hosting something fun and different this Valentine’s Day weekend. Ventriloquist Ken Huff and Mr. Goodwood, his 102-year-old sidekick, will open the theatre’s 10th season with shows at 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Feb. 15-16. The hilarious duo will have audience members laughing all night long.

Mr. Goodwood says he stays young and in good shape by chasing the ladies, but never catching them. So, attendees should watch their girlfriends or wives, because Mr. Goodwood certainly will make a pass at them. He also may have thoughts and comments on today’s news and events, McDonald’s and just being old.

Huff is a retired veteran from 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He and Mr. Goodwood have been performing, flirting and delighting audiences all over the world for the past 30 years.

While in the Air Force, Huff and his partner Mr. Goodwood traveled all over Europe with the Air Force’s Tops in Blue entertainment road show troupe. He retired from military service in October, 1998, as a technical sergeant.

A resident of Seaford, Huff performs all over the Delmarva peninsula. With the recent success of ventriloquists like Terry Frator and Darcy Lynne on America’s Got Talent, demands for his act have increased tremendously.

Tickets are $26 for adults and $18 for youth. To purchase tickets, call 302-829-1071 or go to www.dptmagic.com. The Ken Huff and Mr. Goodwood Comedy Show is appropriate for persons of all ages.
