Register by March 30 for Introduction to Biblical Hebrew

February 21, 2019

Cultivating Wholeness and Restoration Bible College is preparing to offer its second annual Introduction to Biblical Hebrew class: Learning the Language of Abba Elohim, Daddy God.

The weekly course will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, April 6, to Saturday, Nov. 2, at the ministry and school location, 1001 S. Bradford St. No. 10, Dover. This year, long-distance students are also invited to join the class online using the Zoom cloud conferencing app. The registration deadline is Saturday, March 30. For more information, contact Dr. Lethonia McIntosh at  302-747-3414.

In this class, participants will discover the marvelous truths that can be found in the holy words of the language of almighty God.

This class is for those who may be in ministry now or those who may feel the intensity of the call of the Holy Spirit, or simply believers who know there is great depth and beauty yet to be discovered in personal study.

It is a very intensive but rewarding study. Participants will learn to recognize the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, its imagery and numerical values, and its shapes and pronunciation. Attendees will also learn the vowel pointings so they can read Hebrew words properly.  Some Hebrew prayers will be taught. Most importantly, the class will study various scripture texts, learning to translate and interpret within the context of the Hebrew mind-set and culture.

It is not that English Bibles are incorrect. Rather, there is an awesome experience of intimacy upon discovering the divine Hebrew word collage within the portrait of Hebrew scriptures. What did Abraham know about the provision of the Lord when he offered his son? What did Moses do when he noticed the burning bush? How did God grant the request of Jabez? What was the Lord saying to Eliphaz in Job 42? How does one approach the name of the lord conflict?
