A convoy of food trucks will roll onto the grounds at Epworth United Methodist Church from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 27. Vendors will be serving everything from kebabs and homemade pierogies to Mexican street corn and wood-fired brick oven vegan pizzas. Convenient for bicyclers, Epworth is located near the Junction & Breakwater Trail on Holland Glade Road north of Rehoboth Beach. Well-socialized dogs are welcome at the event.
The annual event will benefit Epworth Skate Park and Epworth's Green Team. Epworth Skate Park is free and open to the public. The Green Team at Epworth promotes environmental awareness, education, and initiatives.
The food truck event runs in conjunction with weekend Earth Day activities at Epworth that will include gardening and Holland Glade Road cleanup on Saturday morning. On Sunday, April 28, there will be indoor displays and exhibitors from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, with a focus on Weaning Ourselves off Plastics and a Plastic Free Parkway showing earth-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics.
