Winners named for Milton Garden Club Door Decorating Contest

The Milton Garden Club has announced that Krista Scudlark won first place in the residential category of its Second Annual Milton Door Decorating Contest. Puttin’ on the Ritz won the business category.

The door decorating contest was open to all residents and businesses within town limits. Contestants' entryways were judged.

Lynda Rae Gannon took second place in the residential category, followed by Scotty Elder in third place.

Rounding out the business category were M&T Bank in second place and Irish Eyes in third place.

The Milton Garden Club thanks all the residents and businesses that participated, as well as Raymond Chorman of Hillside Florist for judging and Rogers Sign Co. for donating the winners’ signs. "The town looked festive and wonderful," said Garden Club member Elaine Carbone. "We really appreciate everyone helping us celebrate spring and our second annual door decorating contest."
