In May, Alison Palmer, a Lewes native and currently a rising senior at James Madison University, studied abroad for 3 weeks in Italy.

While taking a sociocultural psychology class, she also enjoyed visiting Perugia, Orvieto, Deruta, Gubbio, Todi, Siena, Cortona, Assisi, Torgiano, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Lake Trasimeno, and the Mediterranean Sea.

Alison graduated in the top 10% of her class in 2016 from Cape Henlopen High School. During her 4 years at Cape she enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball and lacrosse.

One of her favorite hobbies that she will never outgrow is reading the Cape Gazette!
