Sundance 2019 raises funds for CAMP Rehoboth

Rainbow XXXII: Ultraviolet Disco Day-Glo Sunrise
September 6, 2019

Sundance 2019 Rainbow XXXII: Ultraviolet Disco Day-Glo Sunrise, a two-night event at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, brought out the partiers to celebrate the Labor Day weekend and raise funds for CAMP Rehoboth.

Saturday’s event included a silent and live auction with guest auctioneer Lorne Crawford, who entertained the crowd with his stories and historical view of the area. Food was presented by Plate Catering and an open bar brought libations to the evening’s guests.

Sunday was highlighted by dancing with an open bar all night long. International DJ/Remixer Joe Gauthreaux supplied the pulse-pounding music along with special guest: Studio 54/Saint DJ Robbie Leslie. An eye-popping light show was presented by Paul Turner.

“Funds raised at Sundance support the health of the community, and the fair and equitable treatment of everyone, no matter what their sexual orientation or gender identity,” according to CAMP Rehoboth. “In 2018 alone, their outreach programs served over 6,500 individuals; and their advocacy work addressed multiple critical issues, while their health and wellness programs served nearly 10,000 people.”
