Davis, Bowen & Friedel welcomes new hires
Davis, Bowen & Friedel Inc. recently welcomed Lauren A. Balas, Brian J. Mast and Matthew A. Barkley to its ranks.
Joining DBF’s Milford office are Mast and Balas.
With associate degrees in architectural engineering and civil engineering from Delaware Technical Community College, Mast has been hired as a CADD technician. He is working with DBF on a variety of projects throughout Delaware including Woods at Burton Pond and Covered Bridge Trails.
Balas is also a Delaware Technical Community College graduate who recently received her associate degree in design engineering. As a civil designer, Balas will be working in Milford’s civil engineering department under the guidance of DBF’s newly appointed Principal Jamie L. Sechler, PE. She is currently involved in projects for Vineyards Apartments, Jefferson Creek and Heron Bay.
DBF’s newest field technician, Matthew A. Barkley, is serving as support for the Easton, Md. survey crew. Barkley’s role will include operating surveying equipment including robotic total station and GPS, along with placing site markers and recording field measurements and data necessary for engineering and construction plans.
