The rain held off just long enough Nov. 22 for the safe delivery of the tree that will be the featured showpiece for Rehoboth’s annual sing-along at the Bandstand.

The tree was donated by Rehoboth couple Ed and Traci Humphries. The move and installation were made possible by the donated time and effort of Briggs General Contracting, George W. Plummer & Son and Delmarva Power.

The Rehoboth Beach Tree Lighting and Sing-Along at the Bandstand will take place from 6:30 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 29. Partially sponsored by WSFS, the sing-along will be hosted by Clear Space Theatre Company.

Song lyrics for the sing-along will be available in a special ‘Tis the Season publication to be inserted for Cape Gazette subscribers in the Tuesday, Nov. 26 edition and available inside newsstand copies Friday, Nov. 29.

For event information, go to rehobothbandstand.com or contact 302-227-6181, Ext. 522 or communications@cityofrehoboth.com.
