Dewey Beach kicks off holiday season

Dewey Beach kicked off the holiday season with the 5th annual Dewey Beach Sip and Shop and annual Christmas tree lighting over Thanksgiving weekend.
At Developing Artist Collaboration’s Sip and Shop Nov. 29-Dec. 1, more than 30 local artists and vendors showcased gift ideas in a festive tent in the Starboard parking lot.
The annual Christmas tree lighting took place Nov. 30 at Fifer’s Farm Market Cafe. Attendees enjoyed a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, music, bonfires and refreshments. The event is sponsored by the Dewey Business Partnership.
