Traffic on Route 1 near Nassau was slowed June 24 by a two-car accident at the traffic crossover at Route 1 and Janice Road.
Delaware State Police Sr. Cpl. Heather Pepper said the accident occurred at 3:02 p.m. and involved two gray Toyota Camrys. She said one of the Camrys tried to cross the intersection and collided with the other. One of the Camrys was facing southbound with significant damage to the front and the airbags clearly deployed. The second car was facing southbound in the median with the front bumper completely detached.
Pepper said information is still limited, but there were no injuries as a result of the accident.
