Paraprofessional scholarship applications due May 3
The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice is accepting applications for its 2021 African American/Black Paraprofessional Development Scholarship program.
The SDARJ Education Committee initiated the program to encourage and support African American paraprofessionals in the Cape Henlopen School District who are currently working toward teacher certification.
The application deadline is Monday, May 3.
Scholarship applicants must beSussex County residents who have been employed as paraprofessionals for at least three years in a K-12 school in the Cape Henlopen District school. They should have already begun the process for certification.
