Janine King Chohan, dance instructor

Mrs. Janine King Chohan joined her beloved grandmother and parents in Paradise Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012.  
She is survived by her sister Charlotte King of Lewes.  Janine will also join their brother Kerry King, who passed away before Thanksgiving of this year. Other King family members whose lives have been inextricably intertwined with Janine's and who will miss her are Rachel King, Nick Bertelli, Rafael and Betty Font, Yvonne Morton, Barbara Bertelli and Aimee Wiest.
Remaining in New Jersey are Janine's husband Maksood Chohan; her caretaker stepson Inam Ur-Rehman, his wife Njame, and her stepdaughter Mailka; and living now in Pakistan, her stepdaughter Chanda.
Born Janine King in New York City Feb. 10, 1934, she taught dance and academic subjects to young students during a 30-year career in New York.  She became a Lewes resident in 2002 and remained here until her health began to fail her in 2010.
In her memory, expressions reflecting Janine's stylistic grace will be appreciated.
