Lewes Beach Babies graduate preschool
The kids are moving up. Kindergarteners from the Lewes Beach Babies Childcare Center graduated June 9 on the Beach Buddies field.
Just as a rainstorm ceased, the children filed in to Pharrell Williams’ upbeat song “Happy.” The event commenced with an introduction from curriculum coordinator Rhonda Duncan.
Teacher Rebecca Forina read from “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” by Robert Fulghum.
Diplomas were presented after each class’s musical performance. Jessica Gebbia’s class started with a performance of “We Will Rock You.” Rebecca Forina’s class performed “All I Really Need.”
Lastly, teachers Rebecca Forina and Sherri Miller’s pre-K3 class ended the ceremony with a performance of “Celebration.” During the closing remarks, Duncan gave special thanks to Beach Babies President Sean Toner, Director Gina Lang, the Beach Babies staff, and the parents of the children.
