John Anthony DeSimone, devoted to family

John Anthony DeSimone, 70, of Rehoboth Beach passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.  He was born May 17, 1951, in Passaic, N.J., son of the late Carlo and Louise DeSimone.

Mr. DeSimone graduated high school in 1969 and college in 1973.  He enjoyed fishing, bike riding, gardening, cooking and had a special affinity for his four-legged friends.  Above all, Mr. DeSimone cherished time spent with those he held dear.  He was a loving and devoted brother and friend, who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mr. DeSimone is survived by his sister, Carol Lella of Nevada; his brother, Paul DeSimone of California; and his many friends. GOODNIGHT, JOHN BOY.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mr. DeSimone’s memory to the Delaware Humane Association, 18675 Coastal Hwy., Rehoboth Beach, DE  19971.
