Rehoboth Beach goes Red, White & Blue
Annual chamber event celebrates veterans, first responders, active military, police, fire

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Beach Goes Red, White & Blue celebration around the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Sept. 4. The event is a salute to police officers, firefighters, paramedics, active military and veterans.
Led by lead vocalist Frank Nanna, the WWIIunes (pronounced World War Tunes) performed a selection of vintage World War II songs at the Bandstand. Other band members include Dave Delfonzo on saxophone and clarinet, Carole Wolek on accordion, Lenny Wolek on banjo and Lee Knier on trombone.
