Halloween sale at New Life Thrift Shop Oct. 4

September 23, 2021

It’s almost that creepy-crawly, funny, scary, hilarious time of year, and the New Life Thrift Shop will have everything Halloween-related set up for the 4th Annual Halloween Extravaganza starting at 9 a.m., Monday Oct. 4. Halloween specialty sales run through Saturday, Oct. 30.

The shop will open one hour early Oct. 4 so patrons can get in and score some costumes, party and house decorations, accessories and pumpkins.

All year long, shop volunteers have been setting aside spectacular merchandise for this special event, and it will all come out of hiding Oct. 4. This includes costumes for all ages; household, party and front lawn decorations; and a pumpkin collection that’s sure to impress. From little sticker books, gag gifts, and treat bags to serving dishes, wigs and full-scale skeletons, shoppers can find anything in the Halloween spirit at New Life Thrift Shop.

Anyone who is not into pre-made costumes can look through the shop’s extensive clothing, shoe and accessory collection to create their own special design.

The shop will be uniquely decorated, and New Life volunteers will get into the spirit by dressing in costumes that day. New Life Thrift Shop is located off northbound Route 1 at 34686 Jiffy Way between Bethany Blues and Jiffy Lube.

New Life Thrift Shop sells donated goods at reasonable prices to support the core ministries of its parent organization, the Lewes Rehoboth Association of Churches, a voluntary collaboration of churches in and around Rehoboth Beach and Lewes. LRAC supports the Community Resource Center, Cape Henlopen Food Basket, international students, Lewes After-School Program, prison ministry, St. Vincent de Paul Lewes and Rehoboth, West Side New Beginnings, The Way Home, Lewes and Rehoboth volunteer fire departments, and more.
