Cape hockey alumni match up on Legends turf

November 29, 2021

Cape hockey players from the classes of 1996 to 2022 battled for bragging rights on Legends Stadium turf Nov. 24 in a pre-Thanksgiving alumni game.

The game was arranged and implemented by former Cape players Dom Scott and Brittany Bailey. Due to construction on Champions Field, the game was held at Legends Stadium.

“Playing with former coaches and teammates who I love was so much fun,” said Cape 2019 grad Marcella Sabbagh. “Some are now potential rivals, so it’s nice to be on the same team again. Even if we weren’t playing at Champions Stadium, Cape will always be home to me. It’s a great tradition and I hope it continues.”
