The Ellendale Volunteer Fire Company's ladies auxiliary is bringing back a fund-raising event from the past, the Miss Swamp Rat Pageant. On a snowy, cold evening Feb. 11, five brave men dressed as women to compete for the title, with Kent Glasco winning the crown.
