Heidi Lowe Gallery jewelry-making classes continue in July

Heidi Lowe Gallery is offering lots of different three-hour jewelry making classes every Monday in July.

Students will learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and wear their own handmade creation out the door.

Mantra Cuff Bracelet Class is set for 2 to 5 p.m., Monday, July 4. Participants make their own piece of sterling silver jewelry with a personal mantra stamped into it. Participants will learn to saw, texture, stamp, form and polish metal to make a unique, finished cuff bracelet. Cost is $145. 

Layered Pendant Class is set for 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., Monday, July 11. Participants will make a layered silver pendant with imagery inspired by nature. No previous metalsmithing experience is required. Individuals will learn how to cut, file, solder and polish their piece of jewelry. Cost is $135.

A Beach Glass Ring Workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 9. Students will learn how to make a ring and set a piece of beach glass in silver. Cost is $245.

Registration closes the Saturday before the class date. Participants must be at least 13 years old.

Heidi Lowe Gallery is open for shopping by appointment, curbside pickup, and for private and group classes at 17522 Ward Ave., Lewes.
