Red Hat chapter members celebrate patriotism

The Red Hat Society Evening Primroses chapter met July 27 at Kaisy’s Delights in Lewes.

Each month a different member selects the place and sometimes theme for their meeting. For the July gathering, Mae Cipriano chose the theme patriotism.  Typically, members are clad in purple clothing with a red hat. For special meetings they dress as the theme dictates, but always wear red on their heads and don their Red Hat Society pins.

The Red Hat Society is an international society of women that connects, supports and encourages women in their pursuit of fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment and fitness while supporting members in the quest to get the most out of life. The Evening Primroses chapter is open to new members.
