Local Author Kelly Lidji will be signing copies of her book, “Maggie, I Have Your Baby,” from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, at Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach. The event is free and registration is not required. 

The legend of Maggie’s Bridge in Woodland tells that the poor lost spirit of Maggie Bloxom is trapped in an endless search for her lost baby. Believers say those who stand on the bridge at midnight and call her will soon hear the sounds of a sobbing Maggie as she searches for her baby in the marsh. Readers can find out what brought Maggie to such a cruel fate and whether she can be freed from her torment.
