Wendell Alfred will be asset to BPW

May 9, 2023

Vote for Wendell Alfred to serve, once again, on the Lewes Board of Public Works. Wendell is a problem solver and consensus builder. I have served with Wendell on the Beebe Auxiliary board for over 15 years; Wendell has been a three-term president. After COVID, many volunteer organizations disbanded, but Wendell stepped up to lead and worked with volunteers, hospital personnel, business leaders and community members to make the auxiliary viable again. His financial acumen helped us to make the decisions necessary to recover from that difficult time, and in the 15 years we have worked together, his leadership has helped the auxiliary to raise almost $5 million for Beebe Healthcare.

Wendell Alfred will be a tremendous asset to the BPW. He has leadership abilities, financial acumen, years of experience serving on the BPW and, most importantly, a proven record of dedication to serving his community.
