Oxford Researchers recently announced that Plant-based eaters account for 75 % less greenhouse gas emissions than those who eat roughly 3.5 ounces of meat daily! They also found that plant-based diets resulted in 75% less land use, 54% less water use and 66% less biodiversity loss. Lead researcher, Dr. Peter Scarborough, stated "This reinforces the message that the amount of meat we consume is strongly related with our environmental footprint."
