One shot at Whispering Pines

Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting in the Whispering Pines mobile home park outside Lewes.
The incident occurred about 6 p.m., Oct. 8, on Maple Court. One person was shot and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Delaware State Police posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that there is no concern for public safety.
The investigation is ongoing, and more details will be released at a later time.
