Speaking of the Route 9 housing sprawl, I could not agree more with Tom Morris’ letter in the Dec. 19 edition. I especially agree with his comments about the “greedy” developers and “crooked politicians.”
The Lewes-Rehoboth vacation resort area will eventually be consumed by itself. Lack of road infrastructure, traffic congestion, exorbitant prices and lack of parking will eventually bring an end to this area as the place to come and enjoy a leisurely vacation.
I believe the answer to why this is taking place can be found in the Bible: 1 Timothy 6:10 says, “The love of money is the root of all evil.” Notice it does not say money is evil, but the love of it. Coincides with greed, doesn’t it?
