The Feb. 9 article about Sussex County’s marijuana ordinance got me playing around with Google maps to see if there is any location in the county that meets the specified requirements: "No retail store within three miles of a town or city boundary, within three miles of another marijuana retail store or within three miles of a church, school, college or substance abuse treatment facility.” So far I haven’t been able to find a location. I’m not sure if the clever council folks already figured out that this will block any possible establishments except the existing ones. I was looking forward to a dispensary in the Forgotten Mile, but Ocean City, Md., is only minutes away and they will get my Delaware dollars.
