CIB issues Inland Bays passports for Do More 24 March 8

February 15, 2024

The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays is participating in this year’s Do More 24 philanthropy initiative by issuing donors an Inland Bays Passport.

Do More 24 is a unique 24-hour giving event designed to showcase the invaluable contributions of nonprofit organizations serving Delaware, with the goal of igniting a culture of community-wide giving and allowing everyone the opportunity to be a philanthropist. Do More 24 begins at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 7, and concludes at 6 p.m., Friday, March 8.

The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays encourages supporters to participate in Do More 24 Delaware by purchasing an Inland Bays Passport or donating during Do More 24, or a combination of both.

The Inland Bays Passport offers a range of fun activities aimed at exploring and enjoying the beauty of the watershed. Participants will have until Sunday, March 31, to complete 10 of 16 activities and then submit completed passports for a chance to win exciting prizes.

Supporters can also visit the Do More 24 website March 7-8 to donate directly to the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays. By contributing during this period, donors can help maximize the impact of their support.

To make the greatest impact, supporters can do both – purchase an Inland Bays Passport in advance and make an additional donation during the 24-hour Do More 24 period.

"We are excited to participate in Do More 24 Delaware once again and engage our community in supporting the vital work of the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays," said Mark Carter, CIB director of development. "By joining forces with other nonprofits across the state, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve and the environment we cherish."

Do More 24 Delaware operates through the Delaware Give platform, enabling seamless donations and providing transparency on fundraising progress throughout the event.
