I pride myself on being a Miltonian. It's not a born here, raised here thing; it's the feeling of waving at neighbors while on a daily walk, having a “meeting” at Food Lion because five or six of you know one another, having a meal at Irish Eyes and knowing your waitress is such and such’s daughter.
Fred Harvey has that pride about him. He's always been a part of our community – working and retiring from the school, a firefighter at our Station 85, on town council, the good-luck bus driver of countless Cape Henlopen state championship teams, and, yes, he's been privy to a plethora of Food Lion meetings. Harvey is dedicated to our town right now, what the town needs right now, what our community is vocalizing right now. Of course, he is planning for the future, but the here and now also needs to be tended to.
Harvey strives to keep Milton a community and not operating like a huge development. He does not waste time on problems that do not exist. He’s dedicated to keeping the magic of Milton alive and well. Please vote Fred Harvey for Milton Town Council Saturday, March 2.
