Body Shop Fitness Center to host open house March 30
The Body Shop Fitness Center will host a pre-summer sale and open house from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at 70 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach, just steps away from the Boardwalk.
Guests who want to get their sweat on can try out the center’s famous boot camp group fitness class with coach Bruce Clayton at 8 a.m. on the beach for free.
Children are also welcome to attend, and no preregistration is required. Participants meet at the gym and walk to the beach together. In case of inclement weather, the class will be held inside the studio.
Everyone who attends the event will be entered in a raffle to win a free flexibility session with personal trainer Adam Howard.
Discounted summer memberships can be purchased for $239 with a start date valid the day of purchase, instead of starting Wednesday, May 15, which means 1.5 months free. Valid until Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2, summer memberships allow free access to all group classes, including weekly beach boot camps.
Food will be provided throughout the event with donations from local businesses Rise Up Coffee Roasters, Twist Juice Bar, Fringe Protein Bars, LMNT (Will Hastings) and Leks Howard’s famous homemade peanut butter protein balls.
