April 9, 2024

Milton council members Fred Harvey and Lee Revis-Plank took their seats April 1 to begin serving new, three-year terms.

Having won his first full term on the council, Harvey, shown alongside his wife, Thelma, takes the oath of office from Town Solicitor Seth Thompson.  A Milton native, Harvey was appointed to council in 2022 to take the seat of John Collier after Collier was elected mayor.

Revis-Plank, who was also reappointed as the town’s vice mayor, won her second full term on council and was the top vote-getter at the March 2 election, with 305 votes. Harvey finished second with 275 votes, edging out Erin Willis, who finished with 251.
