Federal Street Gallery featuring work of Jennifer Comero

Federal Street Gallery, located at 108 Federal St. in Milton, is proud to present a large collection of oils and graphite nudes by Jennifer Comero.  Her work will be on display throughout June.  

Comero was born and raised in the artist lifestyle and has been painting all her life.  Her father, John Beisel, was a prominent watercolor artist and commercial illustrator. 

She attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore where she studied painting, sculpting, illustration and graphic arts.  She has the ability and willingness to paint almost anything, using any type of media. 

After graduating, Comero worked in a foundry casting and pouring bronze monuments and then designed album covers, magazine covers and hot sauce labels and worked on many other commercial adventures.  She has painted nine limited edition prints, including her most popular Cape Henlopen Lighthouse. 

Most recently, Comero has focused on creating one of a kind original oil paintings of various subject matter including her famous goldfish.  This show will not only include these large oils but many graphite male and female nudes. 

Hours at the gallery are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday. For more information call 684-1055.
