My name is Bill Wells, and I had the honor of serving on the Delaware Electric Cooperative board for 48 years, including 19 years as chairman of the board. Today, I am writing to express my wholehearted endorsement of Jeff Chorman for the At Large 2 seat on the Delaware Electric Cooperative board.
Jeff Chorman is an outstanding businessman who has significantly contributed to our community. Through his work with numerous farmers in Delaware and Maryland, Jeff has helped produce the highest-quality food products while prioritizing environmental sustainability. His dedication to planting thousands of acres of cover crops every year demonstrates his commitment to protecting our environment for future generations.
Having known Jeff for many years, I can confidently say that he possesses the integrity, expertise and vision needed to be a valuable asset to the Delaware Electric Cooperative and its 125,000 members. Jeff's innovative approach and strong leadership skills will undoubtedly benefit the cooperative as it continues to grow and adapt to future challenges.
I urge you to join me in electing Jeff Chorman to the Delaware Electric Cooperative board. Your support can make a significant difference. Online voting begins Monday, July 8, and continues through Friday, Aug. 9. Additionally, in-person voting will take place Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Delaware State Fairgrounds.
