Taking umbrage with Schwartzkopf’s letter

July 23, 2024

I take umbrage with Pete Schwartzkopf's letter calling Claire Snyder-Hall disingenuous. Where does he get the gall to call anyone he hasn't worked side-by-side with that name? You should only be so lucky to call Claire your friend, Pete, because she is an amazing one. So she congratulates you on social media and uses past photos to try and get your constituents to vote for her? It's called a campaign, Pete, that's what people do. I have known Claire for more than 12 years; she is one of the biggest reasons I moved to Sussex County, and I've never found her to be disingenuous, or anything else but a hard-working, friendly, intelligent and profoundly qualified person to run for office. Claire Snyder-Hall will be the best person to represent this district in quite some time.
