GMB establishes Foxwell engineering scholarship endowment

The architectural and engineering firm of George, Miles & Buhr LLC recently announced the establishment of the W. Brice Foxwell Engineering Scholarship Endowment. 

An instrumental force at GMB for more than 35 years, W. Brice Foxwell began as a college intern and progressed to senior vice president and west region director of operations. When Foxwell passed away Aug. 5, 2022, GMB lost a pillar of its firm.

In his honor, GMB has established the W. Brice Foxwell Engineering Scholarship Endowment, administered through the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. The endowed scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors or past graduates of Winters Mill High School in Westminster, Md., or any high school in Wicomico County, Md., who have been accepted as full-time or part-time students to pursue a career in engineering.
