St. George’s Chapel sets pancake dinner March 4

St. George’s Chapel invites the community to its Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner from 4 to 6 p.m, March 4, at 20271 Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson. 

Along with pancakes, guests will choose a side of sausage or scrapple. All are welcome.

Shrove Tuesday is also known as Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday. It is the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent. The word “shrove” is taken from the practice of "shriving" or confessing one's sins.
