Millsboro couple celebrates wedding at Lewes library

Anthony L. Ball and Ama B. Aggrey were united in marriage April 22, at Lewes Public Library.

The Rev. Miranda Manderson officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

Anthony is the son of Celeste Ball and Anthony Gibbs of Lewes. Ama is the daughter of Ken and Phyllis Aggrey of Woodbridge, Va.

The bride wore a whimsically layered tulle gown. Her bouquet consisted of pink, blue and lavender wood flowers from Sola Wood Floral.

The maid of honor was Alexis Aggrey, the bride’s sister, of Upper Marlboro, Md.

Bridesmaid was Ronisha Parker, sister of the groom, of Laurel.

Best man was Billy Ball, brother of the groom, of Millsboro.

Ushers were James Aggrey, brother of the bride, of Woodbridge, and Miles Aggrey, nephew of the bride, of Upper Marlboro.

A reception was held following the ceremony at Lewes Public Library.

A 2012 graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School in Virginia, the bride graduated in 2016 with a bachelor of arts degree in English language and literature from Savannah State University, Savannah, Ga. She was employed as circulation staff at Lewes Public Library.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Charleston Job Corps, Charleston, W.Va., and a 2018 graduate of Delaware Technical Community College.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Milford 9 Movies. Following the wedding, the couple resides in Millsboro.
