Peggy McCloskey of Lewes had the joy of sharing her favorite newspaper with 12 friends from across the globe during an unforgettable visit to Machu Picchu. Over two spectacular days of exploration, the group marveled at the breathtaking beauty of the ancient ruins. Their first day was marked by the sight of a vibrant rainbow and grazing llamas, while the second brought the surprise of spotting a chinchilla nestled among the rocks. Shown in the front row, proudly displaying the Cape Gazette, are Margaret Elofson and Peggy McCloskey. Behind them, standing (l-r) are Annie Brezowski, Al Schuler, Bob Watson, Jim Shaugnessy, Ed Vander Ploeg, Sandra Kalscheur, Torri Johnson, Mary Ellen Shaugnessy, and Mischa Schuler. In the back row, Beth Vander Ploeg and Sue Brewerhartman complete the group. Unfortunately, due to altitude sickness, Amy Singer had to sit out and is missing from the photo.
