Community group visits Mill Pond Garden

May 30, 2025

Mill Pond Garden in Lewes recently welcomed 24 members of the Four Seasons at Belle Terre Homeowners Association Garden Group for a private tour.

While it is the smallest public garden in the American Public Garden Association, Mill Pond Garden still packs a punch. The garden operates to encourage the Romantic style of natural gardening and provide education on the therapeutic benefits and environmental advantages of using native plants and including wildlife habitat.

Among Mill Pond Garden’s features are a koi pond, stream and waterfalls; gazebo and deck; frog pond garden; three large separate gardens with extended living spaces, an enchanting gnome house; and an abundance of native plants mixed with choice ornamentals.

Attendees were excited to gather tips and ideas they can use to enhance their own properties.
