A score of dogs arrived at the Brandywine Valley SPCA Animal Rescue Center in Georgetown June 17, and will soon be up for adoption.
SPCA employees unloaded 20 canines shipped in a custom transport vehicle as part of the BVSPCA’s efforts to rescue homeless animals from areas where they face a higher risk of euthanasia.
All of the dogs will be available for adoption at Brandywine Valley SPCA’s Mega Adoption Event at the Bob Carpenter Center on the University of Delaware campus in Newark from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22.
Every animal will be available for adoption for $35. A valid ID will be required to complete the adoption process.
Brandywine Valley SPCA is also offering a Fast Pass program for the weekend, which guarantees an hour of early access to the venue. Visit megaadopt.com for details.
